LADY GAGA GREETED BY SCREAMING SOUTH KOREAN FANS

(REUTERS – 23RD APRIL) American pop singer Lady Gaga arrived in South Korea on Friday (April 20) and was greeted by screaming fans.

Upon her arrival at Incheon International Airport, Lady Gaga, wearing a mask, was greeted by about 200 screaming South Korean fans. The pop star gave her autograph to members of the crowd waiting at the airport lobby.

Lady Gaga plans to hold a concert at Seoul’s main Olympic Stadium on April 27 as the first leg of her world tour, “The Born This Way Ball Global Tour.”

This is her second visit to South Korea and the concept of the concert would be Electro Metal Pop Opera, according to organizers.

The organiser of the concert said on Monday (April 23) they could not tell anybody where the pop star was staying, but Lady Gaga said on her twitter account on Monday: “So happy! The Stage is more than I could dream for, time to kill the dance floor. Off to rehearsal!”

The pop star’s homepage says she has been nominated for 10 Billboard Music Awards including Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top social Artist, and Top Pop Album.

The 2012 Billboard Music Awards are scheduled to take place on May 20.
